A school in Sakti started by Lama Urgyen from the Taktok monastery, with German support. The school comprises 280 children and is beautifully designed by a Canadian architect. The school has window for passive solar heating and a flower bed in each classroom. All the walls in the school are painted turquoise and the window-frames, a cherry red. This colour scheme made the library set up even more vibrant!
